It happens to everyone, don't say it has never happened to you. We have an amazing thing right in front of us, but we claw for that thing that we really want. It's impossible, you can't have it, you'll never get it, but we persist, even after we get that thing that was right in front of us... It loves us, and cares for us, yet we cannot appreciate it! Why?! Why must we live in the past and keep thinking "what if?" Why can't we just appreciate the future? I'm so confused.

We are taught since elementary school that the world is a threatening place we must defend ourselves from. But what if our own generation made it into a dangerous world? Think about it, we must feel so afraid that we feel the need to build walls around ourselves and never to trust anyone solely because we are taught that. It's like going into a world of sunshine with an umbrella because your teachers said its raining outside. The world is what we make of it, we are the only ones right to make it out of what we see, not what others tell us to see. Think about it...
